Kenya Collins, a former attorney, lifelong student, and professional dreamer,  writes speculative fiction and stories with themes that explore emotional trauma, fear, and the human psyche.  She also enjoys singing, photography, cooking, and crafts.

Kenya has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in English and graduated with honors from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she earned a Juris Doctor degree.  She is a graduate of the Professional Program in Screenwriting at UCLA and completed the Advanced Workshop in Screenwriting and Writing for Television at UCLA.

A Texas native, Kenya now resides in Colorado with her husband and two children who have enthusiastically encouraged her to pursue her long-held aspiration of becoming a published author and accomplished screenwriter.
